Have you watched this season 5 episode 4 of Downton Abbey? Wasn't that a spectacular fashion show! In my storytelling mind I was hoping to see Coco Chanel in this episode, she was after all the new and modern designer of that era. But the lady behind the costumes of Downton Abbey and behind these beautiful 20's outfits worn by the models in the fashion show is non-other than the acclaimed designer Anna Mary Scott Robbins.
In this particular fashion show Anna Mary was inspired by the illustrations of the emerging designers of that era. This outfit was definitely an eye-catcher! Love, love this dress!
I love this long black coat and the inside design is so pretty. I would personally pair it with a wide leg pants. The beige and black accessories complements the outfit pretty nicely.
Every girl should own a party outfit like this! There are a wide selection of flapper dresses at Unique Vintage.
This model is wearing a silky silvery dress with a soft ivory scarf and a feathery headband.
Can't forget the silver suit! The designer kept this line in an monochromatic palate. Her choices were silvers, beige, black and white.
Breathtaking bride's dress!
