Designer Joseph La Rose & His Vintage Shoes

Abigail Van Buren and La Rose
Joseph LaRose, was a Sicilian-born designer and stylist that was famous for his unique shoe & bag designs. Mr. La Rose opened his first store in Jacksonville, Florida in 1949. And for seven decades he customized, color, and design shoes with it's matching bags that were very stylish and sophisticated.

This designer's philosophy was that "good design will never go out of style."

His perfect fit shoes and beautiful handbags were noticed by many celebrities. Some of his clients were Joan Crawford, Jayne Mansfield, Betty Grable, Carol Channing, Abigail Van Buren, and Brooke Shields , just to name a few.
